Learn more about this promising book…

I met a boy once.

He made my heart go into a frenzy every time he looked at me, and my knees go weak whenever he touched me. Our love was so beautiful that even its demise was bittersweet.

I met a girl once.

Her world, full of possibilities, made me feel like even I had a chance at being someone. She believed in me. She loved me. We were so secure, that even our breaking point seemed hazy.

Until we reached it.

“It’s amazing,“, he replied, and I swallowed a groan.”I bet you lay your little-er, not so little-head on your pillow every day feeling like a hero. Wait. Do you even sleep in beds? I’ve heard that Wardens-”

“Do you really need to be here” I interrupted, losing my patience.

Panting, I started to sit up and follow him. “Roth…”

“Don’t” he said, raising a hand that trembled. “God, I can’t believe I’m even saying this, but don’t come closer. Don’t move.”

So far this book has been a great read. I don’t want it to end but at the same time I’m exciting to start the last one in this serie.

“White Hot Kiss” by Jennifer L. Armentrout: Better than cookies

Title: White Hot Kiss
Serie: The Dark Elements, book one
Author: Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Published: February 24th, 2014

Synopsis:White Hot Kiss Cover

One kiss could be the last.

Seventeen-year-old Layla just wants to be normal. But with a kiss that kills anything with a soul, she’s anything but normal. Half demon, half gargoyle, Layla has abilities no one else possesses.

Raised among the Wardens—a race of gargoyles tasked with hunting demons and keeping humanity safe—Layla tries to fit in, but that means hiding her own dark side from those she loves the most. Especially Zayne, the swoon-worthy, incredibly gorgeous and completely off-limits Warden she’s crushed on since forever.

Then she meets Roth—a tattooed, sinfully hot demon who claims to know all her secrets. Layla knows she should stay away, but she’s not sure she wants to—especially when that whole no-kissing thing isn’t an issue, considering Roth has no soul.

But when Layla discovers she’s the reason for the violent demon uprising, trusting Roth could not only ruin her chances with Zayne… it could brand her a traitor to her family. Worse yet, it could become a one-way ticket to the end of the world.

First of all, I adore JLA and none of her book have disappointed me till now.

But, I’m not that keen in fantasy books. Angels, demons, fallen angels and all that jazz. I’ve read so many books of that kind and for me everyone of them were the same thing. I didn’t enjoy them, so most of the time I left them unfinished.

However, this incredible woman has a way to surprise me. Always. And this book is not an exception.
